My name is Adelle Draper and I am an award-winning writer with over 16 years of experience in copywriting, communications, public relations and design.
I founded ALD Media in 2014 in order to provide a range of personal, affordable services to clients in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and the Peak District.
I have found offering multiple services to be desirable to clients as it alleviates the pressure of finding additional consultants to fulfil their requirements.

2007 - 2009

LUSH FRESH HANDMADE COSMETICS
I worked with regional and national publications in a diverse role that also enabled me to partner with other businesses and charities on ethical and environmental campaigns run by the company.
I developed strong relationships with members of the media in the company’s target areas and liaised with the 90+ UK shop managers to help them to promote their stores locally.
2011 - 2012
Press Officer
MK PR
Following a year spent working abroad I worked at Sheffield's MK PR across a range of consumer accounts including Meadowhall Shopping Centre, local restaurants, a housing group and a legal firm.
Responsibilities included writing, social media strategy and implementation, client and media liaison and campaign and event planning and execution.
2012 - 2014
Marketing and PR Manager
BREWKITCHEN
I ran the PR and Marketing operations for BrewKitchen, the partnership between Thornbridge Brewery and Richard Smith, which at the time included eight establishments.
During the role I implemented a 'Charity of the Year' scheme, which raised over £25,000 for Sheffield Children's Hospital in 12 months to kit out a bedroom in the new hospital building.
2014 - PRESENT

ALD MEDIA
I founded ALD Media in 2014 to offer businesses in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and the Peak District access to personal, effective design and communication services.
Highlights have included writing an award application that helped Cafeology to win a Guardian Sustainable Business Award, helping to grow the Society of Independent Brewers'(SIBA) national BeerX event and helping Sheffield's youth homeless charity Roundabout raise over £80,000 through their Bangers and Cash project.
